Essay Topic: The Women’s Suffrage Movement
Louise Pesch read her award-winning, beautifully written, American History essay on the Women’s Suffrage Movement at a chapter meeting on May 11, 2019. She took a unique stance in that she opposed the vote for women. Louise won the American History Essay Contest for the Jack Jouett Chapter, NSDAR, and Virginia DAR, District VI. Her mother and teacher also attended the meeting.
